The mission of the Physician & Employee Giving Program is to empower and engage employees to impact the lives of our co-workers, patients and community while leaving a legacy at Ochsner Lafayette General (OLG). The Physician & Employee Giving Campaign kicks off during the fall, but employees can sign up to make a difference year-round. The Program supports funding for services and other initiatives across Ochsner Lafayette General and is administered by Ochsner Lafayette General Foundation.
To sign up for Physician & Employee Giving payroll deduction:
Go to the intranet, select the “Employee Giving” link from the column on left of page, then select “Donate Now” at the top left of the page.
Employees who become a Physician & Employee member will receive a Leave Your Legacy lapel pin.
Through Physician & Employee Giving, you can support the following funds:
- Foundation Fund: supports facility expansion and renovation projects, patient care initiatives and other areas of greatest need.
- Employee Assistance Fund: provides assistance to OLG employees facing financial hardship due to traumatic life events (includes natural disasters, illness or injury, death, military deployment and catastrophic or extreme circumstances).
- Scholarship Fund: awards scholarships to OLG employees and their families who are seeking to better themselves through educational attainment (scholarships vary depending on the amount raised).
- Clinical Fund: supports innovative technology and equipment for OLG.
