Ochsner Acadia General Hospital Emergency Department
“An emergency room can be the difference between life and death.” Thanks to the generosity of our community partners, AGH has a newly renovated state of the art Emergency Department. In an effort to continue to enhance the services provided by AGH, the hospital is working toward becoming an accredited geriatric emergency room. You can make a difference and help make this accreditation a reality.
Ochsner Lafayette General Medical Center Chapel Expansion
Giving to what comforts you. Ochsner Lafayette General Medical Center has provided non-denominational spiritual support, encouragement, comfort, consolation and prayer to patients and staff for over 50 years. Your contribution will allow us to improve the condition of the chapel for those looking to pray for Hope, Healing and Recovery.
A Cuddle From Clark
Melissa and Ryan Decell had hopes of meeting their son, Clark, alive when he was born, despite his terminal diagnosis. While he only lived for 59 minutes, a CuddleCot allowed the Decells to spend much more time with their baby before leaving the hospital. Through their grief, they partnered with the Ochsner Lafayette General Foundation to raise money to help more grieving families.
LGH Physician & Employee Giving Program Supports Employees and Their Dependents
Since 2016, the Lafayette General Health Physician & Employee Giving Program has awarded $81,500 to employees and their dependents to support their education and further careers. “Winning the Foundation scholarship enables me to pursue a higher level of education. After having an Associate Degree in Nursing for twelve years, I returned to school and earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). Because of this, I was able to apply for and obtain my dream job within LGH that required a BSN degree, empowering me to further my career!” Danielle Hebert, Lafayette General Health employee.
