Our ambulatory surgery center, Oil Center Surgical Plaza (OCSP), is located on the second floor of the Medical Office Building at 1000 West Pinhook Rd., (in the same building as Ochsner Lafayette General Surgical Hospital–An Ochsner Lafayette General Medical Center Campus). OCSP encompasses seven pre-op beds, four state-of-the-art operating rooms and 12 post-op/recovery beds.
The 12,656 sq. ft. facility accommodates those less complicated surgical procedures related to ophthalmology, ENT, plastic surgery and pain management, freeing operating rooms for more time-consuming surgeries.
Oil Center Surgical Plaza is part of Ochsner Lafayette General and is co-owned by Ochsner Lafayette General Medical Center and local physicians.
