1. Get the App
Find Health Anywhere in the app store and download to your device.
2. Get Registered
Open the app and enter all required information. Once complete, your account is active!
3. Get Better
Simply select a provider and start a visit. You’ll then be connected via video chat. All prescriptions will be sent directly to your designated pharmacy for pick-up.

How much is it?
Each visit in the Health Anywhere app only costs $45 when used in Louisiana. This price may vary depending on your insurance provider. When using the app outside of Louisiana, the cost is $59 before insurance.
Do you need health insurance to use Health Anywhere?
Anyone can use the app WITH or WITHOUT insurance. When used in Louisiana, Health Anywhere accepts Medicare, Medicaid and most private insurance. Outside of Louisiana, Medicare and Medicaid are not accepted.
Who can use it?
Health Anywhere can be used to diagnose and treat anyone three years of age or older.
Where can it be used?
The app is available for use in all 50 states.
Does it work with any device?
Health Anywhere is compatible with iPhones and iPads running iOS 10 or later and Android phones and tablets running version 4.4 (“KitKat”) or later.
How will I get my prescription?
Your provider will send prescriptions to the pharmacy you designate. You can pick up your medication from that location. Prescriptions can be delivered right to your door anywhere in Lafayette Parish.
Does Health Anywhere accept Medicaid or Medicare?
Yes, the app does currently accept Medicaid and Medicare when used in Louisiana. Outside of Louisiana, Medicaid and Medicare are not accepted.
Can I get a doctor’s excuse for work or school using the Health Anywhere app?
Yes, you can request a school or work excuse during your Health Anywhere visit. Afterwards, you can download and print your excuse directly from the Patient Portal within the Ochsner Lafayette General app.
