As we work to expand our facilities in an effort to continuously improve the healthcare you receive at our facility, it is inevitable that parking and access are affected by ongoing construction.
In an effort to ensure the safety of our patients, visitors and employees, please take note of these construction updates:
Ongoing Construction (Est. Time of Completion: September 2022)
At the moment, both the main and West Tower (Emergency Department) entrances are available for patient drop off and pick up. With the exception of the driveway to the parking tower being closed off, the main entrance is business-as-usual for when it is open and how it functions.
If you are picking someone up at our Emergency Department entrance (also known as the West Tower entrance)
Because of the ongoing construction, we have had to take measures to reduce congestion and ensure the safety of our employees and patients with updated directional signage to help them navigate the space. The West Tower entrance can be accessed either via the Hospital Drive entrance or via the South College parking tower entrance (between Ochsner Lafayette General Medical Center and the Heymann Center – you’ll go straight down instead of turning into the parking tower). In an effort to help flow of traffic in that area, we have designed large, bright pink signage to help guide our patients, visitors and employees throughout the area. We’ll also have an attendant in the lot to help answer questions between the hours of 10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. when our facility is at its busiest.
To help reduce confusion, we have created a map showing both entrances and their routes for your convenience.
