March is National Nutrition Month!

March 11, 2020

National Nutrition Month is a nutrition education and information campaign celebrated annually in March by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. During the month, we invite everyone to focus on the importance of making informed food choices, developing sound eating and physical activity habits. The theme for 2020 is "Eat Right, Bite by Bite," which inspires everyone to start with small changes in our eating habits. Some ways to get started include eating a variety of nutritious foods every day, planning your meals each week and creating tasty meals at home. For personalized nutrition advice, ask your healthcare provider for a referral to a registered dietitian nutritionist.

And there's no better time than today, recognized as Registered Dietitian Nutritionist Day, to speak with a nutritionist! As the nation's food and nutrition experts, registered dietitian nutritionists are committed to improving the health of their patients, clients and communities.
