LGMC was successfully re-certified on March 11, 2012 as a GIFT (Guided Infant Feeding Techniques) Certified facility by the Louisiana Maternal and Child Health Coalition and the Louisiana Perinatal Commission.

LGMC’s durable home medical equipment company, Advanced Medical Supplies and Services, achieved the Award of Accreditation from the Healthcare Quality Association on Accreditation. The three-year accreditation is achieved only when home medical equipment companies demonstrate a high level of quality practices in their business operations and patient care techniques.
