Lafayette General Welcomes Pulmonologist John Williams IV

Lafayette General Health welcomes Pulmonologist and Internal Medicine physician John Williams IV, M.D., to the practice of Drs. Gary Guidry, Dwayne Brown, Jody Rosson, Jr., and Brad Broussard. As an Intensivist, Dr. Williams also staffs the Intensive Care Unit at Lafayette General Medical Center.

Dr. Williams earned his Doctor of Medicine from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in Shreveport. His bachelor’s degree was in Zoology at LSU in Baton Rouge. He completed his residency at the University of Arkansas Center for Medical Sciences in Little Rock, AR. He performed his fellowship at the University of Alabama Hospital in Birmingham, AL, in the Department of Medicine/Division of Pulmonary, Allergy and Critical Care.

Board certified in Internal Medicine and Pulmonology by the American Board of Internal Medicine, Dr. Williams is a member of the American Thoracic Society and the American College of Chest Physicians.
