Lafayette General Welcomes Dr. Robert Autin, General, Bariatric Surgeon

Lafayette General Health welcomes General Surgeon Robert Autin, M.D., to the practice of Drs. Philip Gachassin, Dennis Eschete, Jr., Daniel Carroll and Michael Horaist. Dr. Autin will be practicing General, Minimally Invasive and Bariatric Surgery at Lafayette General Medical Center and Lafayette General Surgical Hospital.

A cum laude undergraduate of the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in biology, Dr. Autin earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in Shreveport. He did his Fellowship in minimally invasive and bariatric surgery at Albany Medical Center in Albany, NY, and his residency in general surgery at New York Methodist in Brooklyn, NY.

Professional societies that Dr. Autin belong to include the American College of Surgeons and the American Society of Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons.
