Lafayette General Urgent Care Now Offering Online Reservations

By Lafayette General Health
October 5, 2017

Lafayette General Urgent Cares now offers patients the option to reserve their place line before they go, with online reservations.

“We know the last place patients want to be is in a waiting room,” said Melissa Bergeron, Lafayette General Urgent Care Manager. “In an effort to reduce time spent waiting, patients can now select an arrival time online or with the Lafayette General App, before going to one of our Urgent Care Centers.”

Online reservations allow patients to choose a time that is more convenient to arrive with minimal wait time. Patients can make reservations at LafayetteGeneral.com/BookOnline or via the Lafayette General Mobile App. Patients can schedule their visit daily from 9 a.m. until one hour prior to closing time. After selecting a time and opting to receive text message updates, patients will receive notifications as the requested time approaches. Patients can also communicate via text with the clinic staff prior to the appointment. When patients arrive at the clinic, they can monitor where they stand in “line” on a screen in the waiting room.

“We greatly value our patients’ time and do all we can to make patient care more comfortable and convenient,” said Al Patin, Lafayette General Chief Administration Officer. “Minimizing the wait in our Urgent Cares can mean a great deal to someone whose schedule is short on time or is simply not feeling well enough to sit in a waiting room.”

This service is not for use with life threatening, debilitating, or emergent medical conditions. If you have a medical emergency, always call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room immediately.

Walk-in patients are always accepted at all Lafayette General Urgent Care Center locations. Current wait times are also visible through the LGH app to determine which urgent care can see you sooner.

Lafayette General has three Urgent Care Centers located in River Ranch, Sugar Mill Pond and Carencro, open seven days a week, Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. to 7 p.m., Saturday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Sunday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. The only exceptions are closing on New Year’s Day, Easter Sunday, Thanksgiving and Christmas Day.

The Lafayette General Mobile App is available for free through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. The app provides users the ability to check their medical records through MyHealth, pay bills with Quick Pay, views maps showing where recent cases of the flu and strep are located, and much more.
