Lafayette General Health Welcomes New Internal Medicine Physician

Lafayette General Health welcomes Tyler Perrin-Bellelo, M.D., to the LGMD Physician Group – Internal Medicine. Dr. Bellelo will be located in the Grant Mollett Medical Arts Plaza, at 459 Heymann Blvd., in close proximity to other Lafayette General Internal Medicine physicians, including Drs. Michael Alexander, Bradley Chastant II, Milton Jolivette, Jr., Juan Perez-Ruiz, Karen Smith, Angela Snow and Thomas Voitier II.

She is a graduate from LSU in Baton Rouge, where she obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology. She then earned her Doctorate of Medicine Magna Cum Laude from the American University of Antigua College of Medicine in Antigua, West Indies. She completed her residency training with LSU at University Hospital & Clinics, and was named Internal Medicine Resident of the Year for the academic year of 2013-2014.

Professional organizations that Dr. Bellelo belongs to include the American Medical Association, American College of Physicians, Louisiana State Medical Society and Lafayette Parish Medical Society.

Dr. Bellelo brings to Lafayette General an understanding of disease prevention and the promotion of health as well as extensive knowledge and training in the effective treatment of common as well as complex problems that encompass all body systems. She takes pride in providing compassionate, comprehensive care to the people of Acadiana whether in the office or during hospitalization.
