Lafayette General Health Welcomes Neurology, Sleep Medicine Physician

Lafayette General Health welcomes Kevin R. Hargrave, M.D., MBA, a Neurologist and Sleep Medicine physician, to LGMD Physician Group. Dr. Hargrave is joining Neuroscience Center of Acadiana as its new medical director.

With 15 years experience in private practice, Dr. Hargrave will be instrumental in helping to develop a comprehensive sleep medicine center for Lafayette General. Other areas of focus for him include Parkinson’s disease, Multiple Sclerosis, Epilepsy and neuroimaging.

Dr. Hargrave’s office is currently located at 224 St. Landry Street, Suite 2B, in Lafayette. His office hours are Monday – Thursday, 7 a.m. – 4 p.m., and Friday from 7 a.m. to Noon. To make an appointment or for more information, call (337) 235-4554.

Dr. Hargrave received his MD at Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans, and completed his neurology residency at Penn State College of Medicine in Hershey, PA. He was previous medical director and owner of CNS Clinic, a general neurologic clinic and sleep center in Lafayette. He is board certified in Neurology and Sleep Medicine and holds a certificate in neuroimaging. He completed his MBA in Healthcare administration at UL Lafayette in 2011.

Dr. Hargrave maintains membership in the American Academy of Neurology, American Academy of Sleep Medicine, Louisiana Academy of Sleep Medicine, Louisiana State Medical Society, American Society of Neuroimaging and the American Association of Neuromuscular and Electrodiagnostic Medicine.
