Lafayette General Health Welcomes First Baby of 2019

Lafayette General Medical Center, main hospital of the Lafayette General Health system welcomes their first baby of 2019. Baby girl, named Jacey Lynn Porter, came into the world at 7:36AM at 7 pounds, 7 ounces to parents Kierra Ben (mother) and Jalen Porter (father). This is the first child for both parents.

Along with welcoming their new bundle of joy into the world, the parents received a stroller, baby monitors, a case of diapers, wipes and a filled diaper bag of necessary baby items. “We can’t wait to begin our new life as a family,” says new mom Kierra.
