Lafayette General Health Welcomes Family Medicine Physician

LGMD Physician Group welcomes its newest family medicine physician, Leslie Sizemore, M.D., who will open her private practice on November 6.

Dr. Sizemore is currently staffing Urgent Care Centers and Telemedicine Clinics for Lafayette General Health. Her new practice will be a traditional family practice, seeing children over the age of 2 and treating men and women’s health, including pap smears.

Dr. Sizemore completed her residency in the Family Medicine Residency Program at University Hospital & Clinics. She earned her Doctor of Medicine degree magna cum laude from Xavier University School of Medicine in Oranjestad, Aruba, and obtained her Arts & Sciences undergraduate degree from the University of Georgia in Athens, GA. She is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine.

Professional organizations that Dr. Sizemore belong to include the American Society of Family Physicians, Louisiana Academy of Family Physicians, and Louisiana State Medical Society.
Her office will be located in the Medical Office Building at the site of the future Lafayette General Southwest campus, 4212 W Congress Street, Suite 2300-A.
