LGMC earned Major Teaching Hospital status by welcoming residents to campus for the first time in its history.

Three organizations of Lafayette General Health were recognized among the nation’s Most Wired, according to the results of the 2013 Most Wired Survey released in the July issue of Hospitals & Health Networks magazine. Lafayette General Medical Center, Lafayette General Surgical Hospital and Opelousas General Health System were all named winners.
