Crowley Physician John Gonzalez, M.D. Obtains Certification

Lafayette General Health would like to congratulate Acadia General Hospital (AGH) Chief Medical Officer John Gonzalez, M.D., for obtaining board certification in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery. This certifies him to perform highly advanced procedures at AGH dealing with pelvic muscles and ligaments, along with connective tissues and nerves that help control the rectum, uterus, vagina and bladder.

Dr. Gonzalez obtained his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Miami School of Medicine and has more than 20 years surgical experience. He is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and of the American College of Surgeons.
