Cardiovascular, Thoracic Surgeons, Allam & Tedesco Join Lafayette General

Lafayette General Health welcomes prominent cardiovascular and thoracic surgeons Victor Tedesco IV, M.D., and Mo Allam, M.D., to Lafayette General’s physician group, Lafayette General Medical Doctors (LGMD).

Both surgeons are veterans in their field, from performing minimally invasive heart valve and open heart surgeries to those procedures involving thoracic oncology.

Dr. Tedesco brings years of experience to LGMD, having worked across South Louisiana. Among his many specialties is the treatment of Thoracic Outlet Syndrome. He is board certified with the American Board of Thoracic Surgery.

Dr. Allam, also an accomplished cardiovascular surgeon, handles a broad array of cardiovascular treatments, including endovascular laser therapy treatment for varicose veins. He is also board certified with the American Board of Thoracic Surgery.
