Cancer Center of Acadiana Welcomes New Oncologist Dr. Kristen Sager

Cancer Center of Acadiana (CCA) at Savoy Medical Center and Lafayette General Health welcome Oncologist Kristen Sager, M.D., to its staff. Dr. Sager will staff the CCA in Mamou on a full-time basis.

Dr. Sager, a native of Shreveport, earned her Doctor of Medicine degree from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in Shreveport. Before that, she attained her Bachelor of Science degree from LSU in Baton Rouge. She completed her residency at Texas A&M’s Scott & White Hospital in Temple, TX, where she also performed her Hematology/Oncology fellowship.

Professional organizations that Dr. Sager belongs to include the American Society of Clinical Oncology and the American Society of Hematology.

CCA at Savoy Medical Center, located at 803 Poinciana Avenue, sees patients Monday through Thursday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and Friday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. For more information or to make an appointment, call (337) 468-3099.
