Lafayette General Medical Center (LGMC) received the Women’s Choice Award as one of America’s 100 Best Hospitals for Patient Experience. This distinction is the only award that identifies the nation’s best healthcare institutions measured against the needs and preferences of women. This provides a woman the opportunity to identify which hospitals deliver the quality patient experience she seeks for her and her family. Being named and recognized as a hospital of choice among women represents the strongest and most important consumer message in today’s healthcare marketplace. It considers that women account for 94% of all health care decisions for her and her family, according to the research group Center for Talent Innovation.

St. Martin Hospital (SMH) was selected by Modern Healthcare magazine as one of the 2015 Best Places to Work in Healthcare. This is the second-consecutive year SMH has been named to this prestigious list.
