Ochsner Lafayette General hosts third annual Acadiana Alzheimer's Symposium

Lafayette – Join Ochsner Lafayette General and the Alzheimer’s Association for a free event to learn more about Alzheimer’s and brain health. We are gathering two of the brightest minds in research and the medical field, Dr. Kevin Hargrave and Dr. Asma Moussaoui, to discuss various topics surrounding Alzheimer’s disease. Learn to recognize the 10 signs of Alzheimer’s and what to do, how and why doctors utilize neuroimaging and specifics on disease management.

June is Alzheimer's & Brain Awareness Month, a time dedicated to increasing public awareness of Alzheimer’s disease, available resources and how you can get involved to support the cause. Visit alz.org to learn more about Alzheimer’s, its warning signs, the importance of early detection and diagnosis as well as information on care and support.

              10 - 11:00 a.m. Dr. Hargrave and Dr. Moussaoui will each present for 30 minutes

              11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Physician Q & A Panel
