Acadia General Hospital Luncheon on Heart Disease

Acadia General Hospital, in conjunction with Cardiovascular Institute of the South (CIS) at Acadia General, will hold a free “Lunch & Learn” on Wednesday, February 25, from 12 noon – 1 p.m. at the Crowley Town Club.

Recognizing February as Heart Month, CIS cardiologist Wade May, M.D., will speak on risks of cardiovascular disease for men and women. Physical conditions, lifestyle habits and family history all play into your likelihood of having heart problems.

The “Lunch & Learn” is a way for Acadia General Hospital to educate residents on health care topics of concern, discussing ways to prevent diseases and the latest in treatment options.
